Product Overview

The Avlite FTS 830(L) LED Current Driven Airport Lighting is a current-driven unidirectional LED approach light designed to identify a runway end or support acquisition of an active runway. It can be used as a simple runway end identifier light (REIL) or as an addition to complete approach lighting systems including MALSR, MALSF, SSALSR, ALSF I, and ALSF II for runway alignment and runway threshold marking.

This LED current driven airport lighting system is powered through a current-driven configuration and is designed for airport approach lighting applications where dependable LED performance, low operational voltage, and modular serviceability are required.

The FTS 830(L) flashhead and power converter may be mounted together as a single unit or separately to adapt to specific terrain needs. Its modular design supports easy maintenance, while long-lasting LED flashheads require a low operational voltage for reliable runway end identification and approach lighting performance.

The system can be configured for 1-step or 3-step intensity operation and supports visible or visible/IR output configurations. It is compatible with air-to-ground radio controllers and ground-to-ground remote systems.
