The Avlite FTB 600 High Intensity Wave-Off Beacon provides an ultra-high intensity visual warning signal used to indicate an aborted landing or runway hazard condition. The beacon can be activated manually or through an automatic runway incursion system, helping provide an immediate warning when verbal communication is difficult.
Originally designed for U.S. Navy wave-off applications and later used at NASA Space Shuttle landing sites, the FTB 600 wave-off beacon is now available for commercial aviation use. With high candela output, safety interlocks, surge protection, and selectable lens options, it is built for demanding runway safety and airfield warning applications.
