Product Overview

The Avlite Expeditionary Airfield Lighting System EALS is a portable airfield lighting system designed for rapid deployment of solar airfield lights. Built for military, police, airport operators, humanitarian response, disaster operations, and medevac situations, the EALS provides a rugged, transportable lighting solution for temporary and expeditionary airfield environments.

This expeditionary airfield lighting system is available as a Portable Airfield Lighting Trailer (PALT) or Portable Airfield Lighting Box (PALB). Both configurations are designed for quick transport, with the PALT able to be hitched and towed, and both systems able to be lifted and transported by helicopter.

The PALT stores and charges 112 lights for a complete 10,000-foot runway, while the PALB stores and charges 48 lights. Configurable from 1,500 to 10,000 feet, the EALS helps operators rapidly establish runway edge, threshold, and airfield lighting with an integrated AC and solar charging system that keeps lights charged and ready for use.

Designed for austere environments, the EALS combines rugged cable and transportation trailer systems with trusted A704, A704-VL, and PAPI airfield lighting equipment. The system supports wireless control up to 2.5 miles, NVG/covert operations, LED optics, and portable solar-powered lighting for demanding operational environments.
