Product Overview
The Avlite Solar MIRL Runway Light AV-426 is a next-generation, self-contained solar aviation light designed for runway edge, threshold, REIL, sequenced approach, taxiway, and helipad applications. Built to operate in harsh environments with minimal ongoing maintenance, this solar runway light provides dependable airfield lighting without costly cabling or trenching.
This solar MIRL runway light is powered by integrated solar technology and enhanced LED optics for improved performance and efficiency. The AV-426 includes active MPPT solar charging to maximize power extracted from the solar panels, and infrared output is available for tactical or NVG-compatible operations.
Designed for flexible airfield use, the AV-426 is available in Compact (C0) or Standard (C1) form factors. It can be configured with optional RF control through the AvMesh® RF network, multiple LED configurations, IR output, and yellow or desert tan base colors depending on project requirements.
The AV-426 supports multiple operating modes, including programmable light groups, 3-step intensity adjustment, and switching between visual and IR output when fitted. Its internal antenna helps reduce the risk of damage from external devices, while the updated switch and external interface port improve usability in the field.
