The Avlite Low Intensity Obstruction Light AV-OL-ILAB is a steady-burning, low intensity red LED obstruction light designed for marking obstacles that may pose a threat to aircraft. It is suitable for applications such as telecommunication towers, wind turbines, buildings, and other tall structures.
This low intensity obstruction light is built as a direct retrofit to traditional fixtures and supports universal power input options, including 12–48VDC or 110–240VAC. Its lightweight, corrosion-resistant construction makes it practical for outdoor obstruction marking installations.
The AV-OL-ILAB uses a single LED optic with over 32.5 candela output and includes an integrated light sensor for day/night operation. Internal diagnostic checking and alarm contact capability support remote monitoring requirements for aviation obstruction lighting systems.
Optional configurations include combined visual/IR output for pilots using night vision goggles, IR LED, solar power configurations, RS422/485 communications port for monitoring, and either 3/4-inch or 1-inch thread type options.
