In celebration of our 40th anniversary, the renewed Mt. Baker Storm Collection carries on the success and legacy of the very first layered handwear system. In the mid-80’s, Outdoor Research founder Ron Gregg sought a solution to ski gloves that got wet, stayed wet, and froze overnight. The result was the first ever seam-sealed, three-layer shell mitten, known then and now as the Mt. Baker Modular Mitt. The Mt. Baker Storm Jacket builds on the precedent set by its Mitt counterpart, and created in partnership with the Outdoor Research Ambassador team to endure Mt. Baker Ski Area’s famously wet and stormy weather. This GORE-TEX ski jacket features an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, dedicated ski pass pocket, pit zips, and powder skirt, balancing the very best in technical skiing and riding features with durable waterproof protection.
